Hello,
I'm quite new to the XAP800 unit and I'm setting it up to work under serial control from a Crestron system with half a dozen wired Crestron touchpanels. The control side of things works fine, with the matrix on-off switching all happening, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting good intercom audio going when two touchpanels are talking in duplex fashion. You can hear the other person, but there's a constant flanging/ringing sound going on that sounds like the digital audio processing working overtime. The only processing I've enabled is the Acoustic Echo Cancellation, with the references set correctly as far as I know - e.g. kitchen touchpanel mic signal is referenced to its speaker signal. Is this correct? I'm wondering if the design of the Crestron touchpanels and the close proximity of the speaker to the microphone makes for a difficult situation?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
